Erasmus programME

In order to take part in the Erasmus programme and come study for a semester or a whole academic year at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Nancy – University of Lorraine, here are the steps to follow :

1 – Check with your home institution that an Erasmus exchange agreement exists with our faculty in your field of study

2 – Check with your home institution its internal selection procedure for the Erasmus programme

3 – After this selection from your university, your home institution will nominate you to our Direction of International and European Relations.

4 – Our Direction of International and European Relations will inform you by email on how to apply. You will also be informed about student housing opportunities near our Campus.

Learning agreement

In order to complete your learning agreement and choose your classes, you can consult our course catalog in Humanities and Social Sciences:

For any questions about the content of these courses or the terms of the exams, do not hesitate to contact the Erasmus referent teacher of your discipline.

FRENCH CLASSES

At the Social sciences department, classes are all taught in French. Consequently, it is necessary for you to have at least a B1-B2 level in French to make sure that your stay in Nancy is going to be facilitated.

To enhance your knowledge of French language :

  • the University of Lorraine offers you intensive French courses every semester, that are specially designed for international students. These courses can be integrated into your learning agreement and allow you to validate 3 ECTS per semester.
  • A week intensive French courses is also planned for international students before classes start.
